The Circle Model is a Modern Support Environment...
With over 18 years of running a conventional support group, HCMSG Founder Ronni Marks discovered the need for a more flexible model of support for patients and group participants. As the landscape for those affected by hepatitis C was continuously shifting, it became clear that the education and supportive services needed to be equally adaptive. By design, the Circle Model seeks to replace change-driven system interventions and give participants the tools they need to be in charge of their own health
The Circle Model Provides...
SUPPORT SPACE
Traditional programs focus on wellness and health behavior change with an established agenda for participants to adopt a particular lifestyle. By design, the Circle Model seeks to replace change-driven system interventions and empower participants to develop a lifestyle that works for them. Participants are then able to take charge of their health by providing tools and resources to improve overall health and well-being.
SELF-DISCOVERY
The Circle Model is a participant-inspired wellness path to discover one's self-worth. The process is participatory, reflective, and inclusive, which encourages participants to recognize that their voice matters.
INCLUSIVITY
Regardless of age, race, gender, ethnicity, or other background, the Circle Model provides a wide array of individualized solutions to various communities including the implementation of harm reduction strategies and supporting children, adolescents, and people of child-bearing age. We are dedicated to eliminating Hepatitis C and addressing healthcare inequities through partnerships with community based organizations, syringe service programs, clinics, hospitals and other settings.
