Dr. Tatyana Kushner MD
Dr. Tatyana Kushner is a leader in the management of hepatitis C, hepatitis B, and other liver diseases during pregnancy. Dr. Kushner works with patients in the division of liver diseases and in obstetrics, gynecology, and reproductive science. Her clinical practice encompasses the full spectrum of liver diseases, with a focus on viral hepatitis (hepatitis b, c, and d) and individuals with liver disease, including pregnancy-related liver conditions and reproductive health as it pertains to liver disease.
Dr. Brianna Norton
Dr. Brianna Norton is an assistant professor of medicine in the divisions of general internal medicine and infectious diseases at Albert Einstein College of medicine/Montefiore medical center. Her clinical work includes the treatment of HIV, hepatitis c and opioid dependence in the primary care setting. She conducts research to improve linkage to HCV care and treatment for people who inject drugs. She is also the medical director of the NY harm reduction educators, a syringe exchange program in East Harlem and the south Bronx.
Dr. Carlton Thomas
Dr. Carlton Thomas, a Mayo Clinic-trained gastroenterologist who practices in San Diego, will join a patient to talk about HCV infection among MSM. A self-described “butt doctor” and gay man, Dr. Thomas will share his expertise on working with the community on testing and treating HCV and aspects of safer sex to avoid infection/re-infection of the virus.
