 This document consolidates, for the first time, WHO recommendations on the prevention, testing, treatment and monitoring of hepatitis B and C.


The WHO Consolidated guidance on hepatitis B and C prevention, testing, treatment, service delivery and monitoring
 (launched March 2026) is a landmark implementation handbook uniting over 80 recommendations (2015–2025). It offers a practical, public health approach for countries to accelerate 2030 elimination targets through simplified, person-centred, and integrated services, covering HBV, HCV, and HDV.
